Get to know the women who make the World of Tea Drops go 'round!
SASHEE CHANDRAN, FOUNDER & CEO
- What do you do at Tea Drops?
Founder and CEO :) I dabble a little bit in everything from marketing, sales, some operations, investor relations, and community engagement. No day looks the same, that's for sure.
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
"Sometimes it's the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination" - Drake . Ok maybe not the best advice, but come on, he's pretty good sometimes!
- What empowers you?
My amazing, supportive family and friends! Love you guys!
- Who is a woman you most admire and why?
My mom of course -- she's one of a kind, tenacious, persistent, loving, honest, and simply an incredible mom!
FREYA ESTRELLER, HEAD OF OPERATIONS
- What do you do at Tea Drops?
Head of Operations, meaning all the fun stuff (winky smiley face)!
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
You can walk through a wall when you don't know it's there. Think big!
- What empowers you?
My 1 year old son Remy gives me super powers!
- Who is a woman you most admire and why?
My wife, Natasha Case. She actually really does have super powers. She's the CEO of the company we co-founded together (Coolhaus Ice Cream), a doting mom, supportive wife and engaged community member and mentor. She does it all!
ISABELLA TEJADA, MARKETING ASSOCIATE
1. What do you do at Tea Drops?
I’m the Marketing Associate, but they also call me the “jack of all trades” because I’m immersed in almost every aspect of Tea Drops! Social Media is my jam, though!
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
“Make it happen.” It’s not really advice, but my dad used to tell me this everyday when I was growing up as he dropped me off for school in the morning. To me it means make it happen at any cost because at the end of the day, the only thing that can stop you is you.
- What empowers you?
Seeing selfless people. People doing good or helping others because they want to.
- Who is a woman you most admire and why?
I have two. My mom and my older sister. My mom is one of the funniest people you’ll meet. She’s kind and thoughtful, but also extremely smart! She reads more than anyone I know and her never ending pursuit of new knowledge is inspiring. My sister is one of the strongest people I know. She is the true definition of an underdog and she never gives up. She also introduced me to all of the sweet jams of the early 00’s and I will be forever grateful for that!

In the words of Hannah Montana - life's what you make it. Or a rising tide floats all boats aka team work makes the dream work.
- What empowers you?
I am empowered by my passion for design and creating beautiful things. I make things I love every day.
